Truth is We Deserve
Every Good Thing this
Life has to Offer
Recently
I received this email from
a reader named Kara.
I
felt impressed to share
Kara's insights and wisdom
with you...
Hi
Carol et al,
At
your suggestion I wrote
the following on my mirror
last Saturday:
"I
am giving the Universe positive
thoughts and feelings today.
What I am thinking and feeling
continues to expand as the
Universe says yes to me
today and every day."
That
day I looked at my I-pod.
It's one of my favorite
things, but it's pretty
worn from using it while
I garden and the earphones
are dying. I thought to
myself, I would sure like
a new, updated one.
In
the past I would have felt
guilty for such a thought
because it seems trivial
and shallow and there are
more important things to
want.
My
husband also wants an I-pod,
and I knew he should get
one before I got a new one.
Last Saturday, I banished
the guilty feelings and
said to myself, of course
I deserve a new I-pod, everyone
does.

We
went to my work party that
night, where 20 out of 200
employees won some fabulous
prizes. I was one of the
twenty. I won a cash prize
of enough money to buy a
new I-pod for both my husband
and me.
Of
course there are other things
I could spend the money
on: bills, medication, et
cet. However, the Universe
made very clear to both
my husband and me that the
money was an answer to my
request. It was such a thrilling
moment!
I
think sometimes we don't
dare to ask for things we
want because we feel we
don't deserve them.
The
truth is we deserve every
good thing this life has
to offer. The Universe (Heavenly
Father to me) has already
blessed us with all of these
things, and we simply need
to learn how to access them.
This
miracle is just a small
example of the miracles
that happen to me every
day when I am living in
abundance through love and
gratitude.
We
were not sent here to fail.
We were sent here to make
manifest the glory of God
that is within us.
We
are designed to have success
and joy in this life through
the power of Christ's Atonement.
Thank you for being a midwife
for me in this birthing
process. I wish you continued
abundance and joy.
